For Daniel, flying is a passion not an activity. Daniel took his first flying lesson at age 13 and currently with over 6000 hours in a multitude of aircraft Daniel’s passion for aviation has not slowed down since that first lesson. Daniel has been actively involved in the general aviation business industry since 2000 and selling aircraft with Lone Mountain Aircraft since its beginning in 2008.
Daniel is a graduate of the esteemed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL and earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Aeronautical Science with a minor in computer science. Daniel’s first job in aviation was with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems where he was a Software Engineer in mission avionics software on the F22 Raptor. In June 2000 he purchased a three-aircraft flying club named Aero Atlanta Flying Club and has grown the now, Aero Atlanta Flight Center into a Platinum Cirrus Training Center with offices at both DeKalb-Peachtree airport, and Cobb County Airport, with over 20 aircraft under management and rental operation. Daniel began flying and instructing in the Cirrus in November 2003 and became the first Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP) in the Cirrus Aircraft, has logged over 4000 hours in Cirrus SR2X aircraft, and became a type rated Vision SF50 pilot in May 2017.
Prior to joining the Lone Mountain team, Daniel was a factory direct Sales Representative for Cirrus Aircraft demonstrating the latest in technological advancements in the Cirrus SR2X aircraft line to prospective buyers and structuring deals for the purchase of new Cirrus from the factory.
Daniel resides in the metro-Atlanta area with his wife Carol and son Britton. He continues to be actively involved in the aviation community in Atlanta with the Atlanta Aero Club and Angel Flight Soars.
