For Daniel, flying is a passion not an activity. Daniel took his first flying lesson at age 13 and currently with over 6,000 hours in a multitude of aircraft Daniel’s passion for aviation has not slowed down since that first lesson. Daniel has been actively involved in the general aviation business industry since 2000 and selling aircraft with Lone Mountain Aircraft since its beginning in 2008.
Prior to joining the Lone Mountain Aircraft Sales team, Daniel was a factory direct Sales Representative for Cirrus Aircraft demonstrating the latest in technological advancements in the Cirrus SR2X aircraft line to prospective buyers and structuring deals for the purchase of new Cirrus from the factory. Daniel is a graduate of the esteemed Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Computer Science. Daniel’s first job in aviation was with Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems as a Software Engineer in mission avionics software on the F22 Raptor.
In June of 2000, Daniel purchased a flight school in the Atlanta area and grew a three aircraft operation into a flight school with over 20 aircraft under management and rental operation. Daniel began flying and instructing in the Cirrus in November 2003 and became the first factory authorized instructor in the Cirrus Aircraft and since then has logged over 3,000 hours in Cirrus SR2X aircraft. Daniel resides in the metro-Atlanta area with his wife Carol and continues to be actively involved in the aviation community in Atlanta with the Atlanta Aero Club, Angel Flight, and promoting the aviation business as a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
Recognized for its resourcefulness and professionalism, Lone Mountain Aircraft Sales works tirelessly to sell its clients' aircraft and help them acquire the best planes in their respective fleets.
